The Prefixes 'de and dis' (Week commencing 8 May 2018)

This week we have been learning about the prefixes de and dis. A prefix is a string of letters that we add to the beginning of a root wood which changes its meaning.

The prefix 'de' means to take away or reduce.

The prefix 'dis' means to remove, reverse or not have.

Task: Here is your chilli challenge of words. Choose the set of words that you will find most manageable. Here is this week's strategy that you may want to try out. Remember that if you prefer you can use other strategies that you have used in previous weeks too. We aim to give you as many different strategies that will help you that you can choose the ones that work for you.
