Catatopic Mayhem

Chapter 1: The Virus

Once there was a boy, he was cooped up in a house. 

He couldn’t see his friends or go to school.  But that was ok he hated school.

The reason that everyone was cooped up at home like chickens was because there is a big virus in the world.

The virus was called ‘The catotopic’ and the only one who was immune to this virus was

cats.  The virus makes people sick – it makes them dizzy and changes their voices to a ‘Meow’.

While the people where trying to deal with the virus, cats where starting to rule the

world.

Now Bob (the boy) was starting to notice cats where everywhere – instead of using four legs

they where using their hind legs to walk.

Bob was confused – cats where eating cheeseburgers, cats where playing on their phones

and there was even a cat riding a motorbike. I didn’t even know cats had phones!

Bob tried to tell his mum and dad, but they thought he was being silly. ‘Don’t be silly,

cats don’t do all that stuff!’

So, Bob decided to make a plan – He called his best friend Bill on the phone.  He told Bill about his plan.  Bill thought the idea was great! He’d been

noticing things where strange too!

The next morning at 4am, Bob snuck out of his house to meet Bill at City Hall.

Why City Hall you ask?  Because Bill had noticed a line of cats going into it.  There was

even a cat carrying dangerous chemicals!

Bob and Bill looked through the keyhole quietly.  Bill was confused at what he saw – there was another door with four cats guarding it.  There was even security cameras!  They need to get into that room!
