A day at the beach with my family

It was Monday morning when my family and I decide to go for a day at the beach. First, we went to the bakery to buy some bread. Then we decided to make bread with tuna and olives. I was so excited because I like to go to the beach.

My brothers and I decided to prepare some toys to take with us. We also prepared the towels that we would need and two chairs for our parents. We left the house and went to Għadira Bay which is thirty minutes away from the house.The back of the car was full of things. We arrived at Għadira and we helped my father to carry the things and place them on the sand. We also set up a tent to have some protection from the sun's UV rays. I decided to go for a swim. Even though the sea was cold, I swam.

Then my oldest brother came to swim, too. The sea was so cold that some people did not swim, like my mother. She stayed on the deckchair to sunbathe. My brothers brought the beach ball to play a little bit with it. Then my mother called us to eat some bread and apply some sun protection cream.

Later on there were two people from Italy who invited us to use their dinghy and go on an adventure at Għadira Bay. It was such an amazing experience on the dinghy because it was the first time for me. When we went back home, we had sunburned skin and we applied some after sun cream to cool our skin a little bit.
