On Tuesday, the children had a transition morning in their new Year 1 classroom. Some of them felt nervous beforehand, but they ended up having a lovely time! The children listened to Mrs Parker's story on the carpet, and enjoyed making chameleon bracelets.

The children had a great time on our school trip to Parkridge Nature Centre in Brueton Park. They looked for, and collected insects, using brushes and pots. The children also used their different senses to listen to the sounds in the forest, and find natural objects with different textures. They even made "smelly potions" in their cups, using natural objects they found.
