I don't remember putting it on

It was Christmas eve and we were decorating the Christmas tree and I was alone in the room because my parents went to make a cup of tea and we hadn't put the angel on top. But then when I turned around the angel was on the tree and I don't remember putting it on. So I decided to investigate how it got up there on its own. So i took everyone to a room and interrogated them mum said "I was doing the dishes," dad said "I was making tea," and my sister said "Go away!" so I did. But I still don't know who did it.
