Rapidly, Beth scuttled up the ladder “Yey! Treats galore!" shouted Beth. Joe, Frannie and Moonface quickly followed. Beth’s eyes opened with joy “So many treats!” Beth looked around and saw loads of delicious sweets and scrumptious chocolates. “Wow! I wonder if I could take a nibble.” She took a bite “Mmmmm lovely,” said Beth.

All of a sudden Beth was cursed and she fell to the ground. Frannie was trying to wake Beth up but then she caught the deadly curse. Joe caught sight of the girls. He rushed towards them. He heard a dwarf calling "One gold for a special jelly baby!"

Luckily, Frannie had awoken "What happened?” Frannie said.

"You have awoken from your curse," Joe said. The black jelly baby was holding the magic jelly baby. “If we get the jelly baby and give it to Beth she will come back from the curse” Joe said. Joe just about managed to jump and grab the magic jelly baby and placed it into Beth’s mouth. Another black jelly baby appeared. They called Moonface for help. Moonface said “If we count to three the horrible jelly baby should disappear and never come back.

"So they were just about to count to three then they saw the dwarf had magical powers and they all stopped counting. The horrible jelly baby went into Joe. Frannie forced the dwarf to get the mean jelly baby to get out of Joe. “No” shouted dwarf. “What if we shut the land down?” Moonface said.

“Fine uh,” moaned the dwarf. He got the spirit from Joe. While they were walking to the ladder, Joe said “That was scary,”.

“Really it was hairy?” said Saucepan man, they all laughed.

“I wonder what land is going to be at the top of the tree tomorrow.” Joe questioned.

They all sped down the tree, when they got back they were all chatting. "That was awfully scary,” Beth remarked.
