Dearest mother,

I was very sad to see you go. The second we were parted I felt no reason to live, and I was tempted to jump onto the tracks. But dont worry, it'll be okay. On the train, beth was wailing like some wretched fowl. Meanwhile, I found some boy who was suffering as much as I was. We talked for a little while, trying to pass the time. The boy told me his name was Josh. Just then, we felt a shuddering feeling, and the train screeched to a stop.

"Get out," said a dark haired man. I jumped out of the train, stumbling on the dark, gritty, cobbled pavement below. A huge crowd of parents were waiting. The man lined us up to get picked. Beth and I were picked by an elderly couple named Mr and Mrs Falcom. As we walked through the muddy path ahead I noticed a few creatures that had a tail like a broom, four legs, two horns, a dangly thing on their front and black splotches all over. I later learnt that it was an "animal" and the type of animal it was was a "cow". I also learnt about other types of animal such as soft ones like "sheep", and fat pink ones like "pigs".

With love,

Alexander
