Dear Diary,

I have had the most annoying day ever throughout my whole life.

Yesterday, I met my best friend Jeff, who was hanging around with some other people. As they turned the corner, they saw a massive, dark, eerie shadow. The shadow took them and ate them whole, I was completely horrified. I rapidly sprinted back home, I was going to phone my parents but I got stopped by the tasty, most delicious waffles ever on the side. Well what do you know I went to eat them, then I heard a knock on the door, it was Jeff.
