We have also done lots of work on shapes. The children made "rockets" with them, learnt the names of 3D shapes, and sorted them into groups.

The children have learnt about the religious festival "Diwali". They tried colouring Rangoli patterns, and made their own by using buttons. Other activities included Diwali number matching, and making paper plate Diwali lamps.

On Thursday, the children were introduced to "Bee-Bots". They enjoyed moving them in different directions, using the arrows.
