Text editing and multimedia
Using j2e5 create an instructional piece of writing and share.
Report writing in j2e5 and outlining the process from planning to demonstration of a successful program. Share and collaborate.
Create marketing material using j2e5 for your game created in j2code.
Using j2e5 develop the use of hyperlinks to produce more effective interactive, non linear presentations.
In j2e5 make use of the transitions and animations. Pupils can share their work and evaluate the presentation for audience and appropriateness.
Independently select multimedia to add to a j2e5 page use j2camera to add additional effects to pictures.
Format and edit work in j2e5 before it is published to j2webby to improve mood and clarity.
Create groups and share work between them to allow pupils to review work that they have created in j2e5. Use Folders to share additional file types such as .docx etc...
Simulations
Predict how a provided algorithm will behave before testing it. Use j2code and j2e5 to write up the outcome and observations. Share via j2e5 or publish to j2webby.

Pupils use and refine their skills while indepently create and respond to blogs and forums created using the comments feature in j2bloggy or j2webby.
As a class or group make use of j2bloggy or j2webby and collaborate on projects with other schools.
Research
Using j2launch share a variety of search engines with pupils including swiggle from the south west grid (available from the library in j2launch).
Discuss issues of copyright in relation to j2e5 and the blogging platforms; j2webby and j2bloggy.
Copy, paste, save and use pictures text and sound in a j2e5 document for a specific audience and publish it to j2webby
