Luke's Gospel is different to other gospel writers because in his version of his Christmas story he didn't include some of the things that the others did. He didn't include Angel Gabrielle,the 3 Wise men and Mary and Joseph knocking on peoples rooms so they can give birth to Jesus. Sometimes we think all the christmas stories are all the same but, no they are all different. Luke some how made a difference to every gospel reader. He didn't need to be the same like the other writers, which is a good thing because this year we will be hearing a different type of story then the same one with Mary riding on a donkey. The last thing is that Luke didn't include King Herod telling his soldiers to kill every new born baby boy because he thought Jesus was going to be more powerful then him which he is.
