One day when I was walking in my uncle's laboratory when I saw something different about one of the floor boards. It was not like the others,so I decided to check it out. It had a pink spot and it was facing a different direction. I tried pushing it down but it didn't work so I tried pulling it and BOOM a flashing light came out of nowhere. A strange machine appeared out of the blue.

The machine was like a big watch but it had more numbers than the usual 12 on the clock. It was shimmering gold with long black hands. You could turn the clock's hands on any number you like and in any direction, both clockwise and anticlockwise. It had a small button that says, " TAKE OFF." I thought if is it a good idea to push it straight away.

I build up the courage to press it and in seconds

the room started to shake. I think I was the only one

that could feel the ground beneath my feet shake

because everybody was fine. All of a sudden I was in

a different year. It was so much louder and stranger. There where flying cars, invisible planes and much more cool stuff. I walked for an hour to find a place to sleep and figure out how to get home. I was so tired that I had to sit down and buy a drink. A strange man came up to me when I was getting a drink and told me that it is was year 2132, and if I was looking for a place to stay there is a hotel for $85 per night.

When I arrived at the hotel I entered a nice room. The room looked familiar. There I had a good rest. When I woke up, I looked around the room to figure out how to get back home. Then I saw the same clock that I used to time travel. On the right side there was the word "TAKE OFF" and on the other side there was a button that says "HOME". I breathed a sigh of relief. I immediately pushed the button and "BOOM" in a few seconds I was in the lab and I quickly place the watch back and ran home.
