Clever Polly and the wolf

“Oh!! It’s you again,” said Polly.

“I’m going to eat you now,” said the wolf.

“Come to the kitchen.  Come and see what I’m making,” said Polly

“It’s a delicious smell what is it?" asked the wolf.

“Tomato pizza,” said Polly.

“Can I have a slice?” asked the wolf.

“Of  course, but are you going to eat me now,” asked Polly looking worried.

“Here you go! Have it!” agreed Polly.

Polly gave a slice of pizza to the wolf.

He grabbed it and ate it in a gulp.  He licked his lips.

“Can I have another piece of pizza,”  said the wolf eagerly to have all the pizza.

“Of course,” nodded Polly.  “You seem very hungry,” said Polly confused.

“Why are you looking at me that way and showing me your long sharp teeth?”

Polly was shivering with fear as she realized that he was going to trick her.

Then he ate another piece of pizza.

“No, please don’t eat me,” said Polly trembling  with fear.

“Why are you doing this to me?” ”Please let me free.” “I promise you,  I will prepare you a huge, tasty meal for you every day.” said Polly.

“You had troubled me enough lady,” said the wolf trying  hard to eat her.

“Stop” said Polly.  “Let me call my sister. She is younger and better than me.  I am all skin and bones".

“Fine” said the cunning wolf. “Hurry up! I am on pins and needles to get to know your sister.

Bright idea, I will have a double meal,” he thought by himself.

Polly went into the other room and wrapped herself in extremely hot chilli pepper.

Polly called her sister and informed her about her genius plan.

“I can’t stand anymore,” said angrily the wolf.

As soon as the wolf put Polly into his mouth, he sneezed and throw her out of his mouth. He cried his eyes out because of the extreme heat of the hot chilli pepper.   Steam got out of his mouth, eyes and nose.  He ran as fast as his feet could carry him.  He never returned back again to the town.
