The Yr 5/6 Football team recently took part in the Soar Valley Football Festival and came runners up to Mellor. Both teams had the same number of points so it went down to goal difference - Mellor winning by 1 goal more than Sandfield!

Children from Yr 4 took part in a Badminton Tournament at Babington College, Leicester in October. Well done to Tia and Aaron on winning this.

The school also won the team competition. This is our best ever result in this tournament.

Congratulations to the Y5/6 Hockey team who took the trophy at the Soar Valley Hockey Festival. They won all their games without letting in any goals:
