The Forest of The Eagle

My leg was aching. I had nowhere to go. "Charlie, Charlie!" I yelled. I kept shouting back and fourth, with no reply. Then I had no choice but to give up. "You can't give up now Jason." Said Elizabeth. " I'm sorry, but I failed you..." I replied, looking at her with such sorrowful eyes. I stared back at the clear moon-lit sky, and closed my eyes, along with my bitter tears. Then, we heard something. Not sure of what it was, I opened my eyes, to see Charlie beside me, pointing at the sky; looking like a statue. I was shocked. 'How is he alive?' Jason thought. I realised something.. and heard a screech. As it flew towards us I couldn't see what it was.. "Your my next victims..." What could it be? A bird? or death.
