A long walk in the countryside

Last February the school organised a long walk in the countryside from our school to Ramla Bay to raise money in aid of "Dar Nazareth"in Zejtun. This is a home for disabled persons.

Parents were invited as well for this occasion. I was very excited and happy that my mother was there with me. It was a beautiful sunny day although it was winter. On our way we could see big fields with lots of vegetables planted there.

As we were walking we could see butterflies and bees flying from flower to flower. We listened to the birds singing and enjoying themselves freely on that sunny day.

Tired but happy we arrived at Ramla. There we had lunch as we were all hungry. The sea there was very nice, calm and very clear.

After some time the bus came and took us back to school. It was a very nice and exciting outing.
