History
Vetigo was built in 1997, and it costs £36.00
for three people and £12.00 per person to go on it.
It took about two years to build.
It cost £250,000 to build Vertigo. It's placed in
Oakwood theme park in Pembrokeshire,Wales.
They say it is the most scariest ride ever in the
whole of Wales!!
Facts
The height of Vertigo is 160 feet tall and the length
of Vertigo is 50 meters long.The speed reaches up to
110 M.P.H, the maximum drop is 97 degrees .
It is situated in the middle of Oakwood theme park.
You are strapped into a wire and you are pulled up right to the top and then you are let go and
you swing back and forward.
Design
The design of Vertigo is like an upside down letter U and it is made out of steel. The
rope is always tested before the park is
open for business every day.This ride has a 5 star rating in the Oakwood brochure.
Vertigo is known as a roller coaster but it is
actually a sky coaster. This is the closest experience you will ever have to actually be flying like a bird. Vertigo is a ride where you have to think twice before riding as it stands tall
over Oakwood and is not for the faint hearted!!
