Research homework
Research homework
Blood, Bones and Gory Bits!
What?
Choose a body organ that we learnt the position of this week and research about it. Can you learn 5 or more facts about it?
For example, you could choose the:
- Heart - Bladder
- Lungs - Stomach
- Brain - Liver
- Kidneys - Intestines
Where?
You could use books that you may have at home, visit your local library or our school library.
Another great source is the internet. Always make sure that you are with a responsible adult when researching using the internet. Choose key words very carefully and check with an adult before pressing 'search'!
Why?
As we have discussed in class, this is a very important topic as it is very personal to us.
It is vital that we look after ourselves inside and out!
In Year 4, our topic is "Blood, Bones and Gory Bits".
We are becoming familiar with some organs inside our bodies this term.
How?
Complete it using j2e on Hwb, so that you may add relevant images too.
You may set your research out in any way you choose.
Remember - Do not to copy and paste - read about it, make sense of it, then write in your own words.
