London - A  Poem by Heer (Year 5)

To me London is busy streets,

Little flags dancing red, white and blue,

Boroughs are myriad,

Through and through,

Wide open parks,

Historical landmarks,

7,500 iconic red buses,

Benevolent and jubilant rushes,

Big ben singing oh so mellifluous,

To the places where it’s melody travels are copious,

A place though so common, is uniquely different,

A democratic country nobody is the boss,

But COVID19 has made the most of joys lost.
