Phoenix

Phoenix

A Phoenix is a type of rare firebird.

Habitat

Most Phoenixes nest in cinnamon trees in the Middle

East.

They'r'e often found bathing in fire. In the book by E. Nesbitt, The Phoenix and the Carpet, an egg is

wrapped in a carpet. Luckily it didn't get broken.

Appaerance

Unfortunatly,

different legends describe it differently.

Some legends describe it as an eagle with a crest of gold feathers. Other legends describe it as a beautiful, golden bird covered in flames.

Useful facts

You'll be glad to know that Phoenixes are herbivores , but they would make excellent predators.A useful fact is that their ashes give long life.If you kept this bird your house would get set on fire(the children in The Phoenix And The Carpet made this mistake).

This is a rare, beautiful bird but can be dangerous!
