Year 5 trip to

the O2 Arena

On Monday 26th January, the year 5 students went to the O2 arena to do some singing. We were wearing white t-shirts because that was the dress code. From our school, there were 60 children going. We were going to gather with some other schools. We left the school at 9:00am and we went by coach.

When we had arrived, we had

realised that the O2 was bigger

than we thought. Roughly, there

were 4,000 people. A lot of

celebrities like one direction

perform there. The place was

hectic and there were loads of

crowds. When we went in we put

tin foods in black bins. They

were going to go to charity.

When we got into the arena, we did a 2 hour rehearsal before we performed. We had to go to the toilet before we performed. There was a lot of dancing and singing. There were a lot of pop stars and famous people.

When the singing had finished, one

by one everyone made their way back to

their coaches. It was dark and late. At

some point, we all fell asleep on the

coach. Finally, we got to school and

went with our parents.
