Life on Mars

Mars is the second smallest planet in the solar system. It is also known as the red planet, as it is covered in red dust. On 7th June 2018, scientists first discovered that there was liquid meaning one day there could be life on Mars.

However, living on Mars will require a lot of training and special equipment. The difficulties of living on mars include:

• Running out of fuel

• It would be very expensive to manufacture shuttles

• Low amounts of oxygen in the atmosphere\Z\Z

• It is dangerous with possibility of meteors crashing.

On the other hand, there are many advantages to living on Mars:

• Mars will provide more space to live on, because the population is rapidly increasing on Earth.

• Humans could escape global warming, wars and world hunger.

• It would also allow us to discover the rest of the universe.

In the near future, as early as 2022, a company called SpaceX would have funded and developed Shuttles and they plan on going to Mars in the year 2024.

Their mission is to assemble plants which can provide oxygen.

Why Mars?

Mars is very close to Earth and it is a good distance from the sun. Mars days are very similar to Earth’s (longer by by 40 minutes.) In addition, the temperatures are very similar to Earth’s.

In conclusion, it is possible to live on Mars; however it would be very difficult and expensive.
