Jeep Work
Friday 22nd March
This week we have been learning about vehicles. We went outside to look at the features of a real landrover. Then we drew a jeep and labelled it, before designing our own.

Thanks to the generosity of parents we had a plethora of boxes to choose from. We taped them together and painted and collaged them. We chose all sorts of things to decorate our jeeps, bottle tops, card, plastic from biscuit boxes and foam. Mrs Rooke helped us with the sawing, we had to be careful!
"We sawed the axles and then we put the wheels on." (Harry)
Miss Hunt helped us to glue pegs on to hold the axles. We used elastic bands to stop the wheels from falling off!
Here are some of our completed jeeps! What do you think?
"We did beautiful dancing and Miss Mason gave us some special headteacher stickers." (Charlotte)
In maths we have been using a number line to practise adding and taking away. It is easy!
