CARL LINNAEUS

Carl Linnaeus was born in May 23 1707 and died in 1778. He was born a village called Rashult in southern Sweden. He collected a total of 40,000 specimens of both plants and animals in his life time Carl also published his first book called 'Systema Naturae' in 1735. In his lifetime, he also named 4400 animals species and 7700 plant types using his binomial nomenclature system.
