Earlier this month the government found it was necessary to extend the school days and lessen the half terms.
Obviously, in my opinion, they didn't think about how us children would react. It isn't fair to worked to the limit. We would spend more time at school than with our friends and families.
One question I ask is: will this only happen to schools or will it also effect parents work? Because, wouldn't there need to be more after-school clubs?
Children will always stay children. Extended school days will not make them more disciplined. It would just make them even more badly behaved. this is because of lack of fun. this sounds stupid but it isn't. We have got to have some sort of excitement in our lives. but school wouldn't allow that to happen.
Personally i think it is a ridiculous idea, and it shouldn't be gone through with. and i hope that sums it all up for you. think about the kids...
