Wonder - by R.J. Palacio

Wonder is a story about a boy called August who has a deformed face. Due to having multiple surgeries, He has never had the time to go to school and is homeschooled by his loving parents that have to take care of his implications. However, he can't stay at home forever. One day, he is told he is going to go to high school out of the blue. What will happen to him when he finds out he isn't accepted by people?

Wonder is a great book that teaches the true values of friendship. It is quite an emotional read and the book is quite unique to any other I've ever read. I will always remember this book and treasure the lessons they taught me.

The book is most suitable for ages ranged 9-11 and it is perfect for showing an example of equal rights. It also shows that everyone should work together as a group. Equal rights are important for an equal chance of a bright future. This would bring people together and make the world a better place. Altogether, the story is not just fun to read but quite important for the next generation of people.
