What a beautiful day it was!

On the 13th of August, on a Sunday, I woke up at 6:30. The reason was because it was my 9th birthday!

On my birthday it was a sunny day. I quickly got out of bed and went to wake up my mum and brother. I started to shout, "It's my birthday!" and they both woke up.

At 12:00 my mum surprised me and took me to a beautiful playground where I could see all my friends holding presents and singing 'Happy Birthday'. We started playing and we had lots of fun. There were lots of fun activities to play such as playing

Tag, Hide and Seek and many more. As the day went on it was time for me to cut the cake. The cake was a chocolate cake with lots of Nutella and chocolate on top, you could just imagine how that tasted! Then, I opened my gifts. I had 12 gifts to open in all and my favourite one was the big fluffy squish mellow. It was so fluffy!

At 8:30 it was time to go and I felt extremely exhausted but I also was very happy that everything went as planned and that I had fun. It was my best birthday!
