Have you heard about the amazing Sir Isacc Newton? Why is he famous? What did he discover? Do you want to know more about his amazing life? If you do, read on.

Isacc Newton was born in the year 1643,in a pretty village of Woolsthorpe in Lincolnshire.

Sadly, his dad died when he was three years old. As he grew older he went to Trinity college in Cambridge Universty.His mum wanted him to be a farmer but he had other ideas.

He left college and became famous but how? Well, he discoverd gravity. Gravity is a force that stops us from floting around the place and pulls us down to the ground. He invented the telescope and the cat flap.He was so famous he got knighted by Queen Anne and was known as Sir Isacc Newton.

He sadly died in 1726 and was buried in Westminster Abbey, London.

We remember Syr Isacc Newton for discovering gravity.
