This week we have been looking at a particular topic called:

As this week was our first lesson in micro society, we had to decide on a flag and a country name.

So we all made our own one and the best got chosen to represent for each team and this was the same for the country name. The way we chose the best one was by holding a public vote .I thought this was a fair way because it let everybody have their own say.

But when we were to choose our flag ,we ended up with a running race ,the winner would have their team flag to represent our class.T

his meant if a poor-designed flag won the competition

we'd have to live with that.

Luckily, it was a lovely flag but overall ,we had made the wrong decision .This lesson had taught us that this could happen in genuine life.

Later on the week we had a another activity where we received a pack with items .In the bag we got we had: pencils, scissors ,rulers ,a broken compass but no paper.

So for the first ten minutes we just panicked .But then another team came to trade with us and then we knew that we could trade .We were so pleased!

In the end we got 2nd place and we were elated!

We learnt that it isn't having a lot resources but using what is around you .However you do need some resources and scarcity is a big part of this.
