Chemistry

Solids, liquids and gases

Solids, liquids and gases are all different things. They are all made up of something called particles. The particles in a solid are very compact. In liquids the particles are loose, taking the containers shape. Gas is a little similar to liquids because they also take the containers shape but, the particles are different. They fly everywhere.

Buoyancy

Buoyancy is the force that allows things to float. It is an

upward force that

that pushes against gravity. It is so well balanced that we are able to

float.
