Data Loggers!

A data logger is something that can detect the temperature

of things, how loud things are and how much light there is.

What is a data logger?

How might we use a data logger?

We could use it on a day in winter to find out the temperature

and then we could compare the temperature in

winter to one we

found out in spring. Or we could use the data logger to

find out how loud

a drum is than a flute. Or we could detect how

light it was at 8:00 am

and how light it was at 8:pm on the same day

Where might we use data loggers in everyday life?

You could use something called a baking probe when you

need to detect how hot a cake is.

Here is a baking probe.

Thanks for teaching

me about data loggers!

No problem!
