Research our topic "Cut throat Celts".

Use the websites provided here as a starting point.

Complete your J2e document which you have already started in school. If you do not have access to a computer at home, attend our homework club on Tuesday after school, to have all the access you need.

Write some of your newly learnt facts about the Celt era onto strips of paper.

One fact per strip.

Make your writing nice and clear, as the class will be using them to create a non-chronological report (our text type this half term).

If you want to broaden your research, or you have trouble accessing the internet, you could:

- Visit the local library to loan some topical books.

- Visit our school library to loan some relevant books.

- Visit the museum to see if they have any information.

I have given you time to begin this research task in class, to make it easier for you to complete by Friday 13th (or earlier), as your facts can then be used during Mr Smith's History/Literacy sessions this week.

HAPPY RESEARCHING!

PARENTS - Some aspects of the Celt era were somewhat profound!

Please monitor children as they research, and if possible scan or pre-read
