Safety

-Go to an organised event. Professionally-run events will have health and safety regulations

-Don't wear things that are flammable when near a fire. Flammable means something

catches fire easily

-If your clothes do catch fire then'STOP! DROP! ROLL!'

-Keep pets indoors on Bonfire Night and Halloween at ALL times where it is safer

-If you are 5 or under then you can not have a sparkler ,but if you are older than 5

tthen always make sure you are with a trusted adult when you light it. Always hold it from an arms length

-If there is a firework on the floor then just leave it alone. Do not lean over it because

fireworks are unpredictable and you could end up in hospital

-Wear bright clothes so when it is dark ,you can be seen

-Bring a torch so you can see better when it is dark

-Go trick or treating with an adult ,but if not go with your friends and let your parents

know exactly where you are going so they knom where to find you if you get lost
