Mother Teresa

Mother Teresa went to live India. In India, she helped the poor and she built her own hospital for the poor. She was like a mother to all the people. So they called her 'Mother Teresa'.

All her life she helped other people. In 1979, she received a special prize for all her good work. She gave all her money to the poor. Then, she became very famous. Unfortunately, she passed away in 1997 .
