Wonderful Winter Wonderland (or just the Winter holidays)

Most of the holidays was spent walking a bouncy, energised dog, so I shall start with that. Coldfall Wood was a dense, enclosed wood, but I loved it. It was full of enticing trees to climb, and talkative dog walkers to talk to. We even had a really tough, mapped-out run, that included running round almost the whole wood without stopping. Rufus the dog was as bouncy as ever, and when we brought my winter football along, the dog, thinking it was a tennis ball, ran away with it. When we were rushing out, it was really annoying because the dog had hurt his paw so we had to wrap it in vet wrap. (We were rushing out most of the time, because we had left the walk until too late.)
