If you do not know, I am Irish. Ireland is actually a pretty small country but it's got quite a lot of awesome history and cool places of interest like:

And many more! The parts of Ireland I am from Is Cork and Limerick. My dad is from Cork and my mum is from Limerick. I love going to Ireland because most of my family lives there and I always get to see one family member or friend every time I go there.

The Capital of Ireland is Dublin. It was named and discovered by the Vikings when they invaded Ireland. Ireland is split up into two parts. Northern and Southern. Northern Ireland is ruled by England so they use pounds there. The capital of Northern Ireland is called Belfast. In Southern Ireland they use a coin called a euro (pronounce ur-o).

In Blarney Castle there is a stone. This stone is called the Blarney Stone. It is said that if you kiss the stone you get the gift of the gab. This basically means that you'll never be able to stop talking. I don't think my little brother needs to kiss the stone!
