Being the largest country in the continent, Australia's population is 23.13 million compared to London which has 8.53 million people, shocking!

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven wonders of the world that happens to be in Australia. It's location is off the coast of North Queensland very near to Brisbane. People flock from all over the world to see it. It includes many species of coral and fish for people to admire.

In Australia the weather can be varied. In the northern territory it can be described as sub-tropical with its rain forests. In central Australia it is described as desert like. Down in the south it can actually get quite cold!

In central Australia there is a natural landmark called Uluru, which used to be known as Ayers Rock, but now it is given the aboriginal name.
