PE
Throughout the year, children in year 4 will be swimming each Tuesday.
Wednesday afternoon - Hockey until half term.
Badminton - Monday morning after half term for 6 weeks.
Please ensure that your child has the correct P.E kit in school at all times.

Autumn 1
English:
We have learnt and written a story with an issue, based around the Iron Man.
We are currently writing a non-chronological report on The Battle of Bosworth.
Welcome to Year 4. This area will be updated by Mrs.Knox, Mr.Taylor, Miss Leonard and Mrs Ravalia.

Maths:
We are learning to count, compare and order 2,3 and 4 digit numbers up to 10,000.
We are exploring number patterns.
We are also focusing on counting in 6's, 7's and 9's.
We will be learning to round numbers.
History:
We will be linking our learning in history to our English unit on the Battle of Bosworth.
Art:
Our learning in Art will further support our History and English research. To do so, we will explore patterns in relation to the Iron Man.
We will also design weapons and armour for a recreation of The Battle of Bosworth.
Science:
We are learning about digestion and the digestive system.
ICT:
We will be using the iPads and the computer suite to support each unit of learning.
