Week of Christmas
Monday 23/12/2013
On Monday me and my mum and dad went to the shop and bought ingredients for the duck. It was a long drive to the shop to pick up the ingredients for the duck. We had to go to two shops to pick up all of the ingredients.
Tuesday 24/12/2013
On Tuesday my dad and I went to the shops to pick up an electric whisk, the shops were so busy that I had to wait ten minutes to get it. The walk to the shop was very long. When we got back my dad also made yummy biscuits and my mum made a cake.
Wednesday 25/12/2013
On Wednesday it was Christmas and I had seven presents under the tree to open, two from Santa and five from my mum and dad. I also had three large presents in my stocking. Most of the things in my stocking were candy and chocolate.
Thursday 26/12/2013
On Thursday Isa, Maida and I, went to winter wonderland with our parents. Our favourite ride was the toy factory. We liked it because it was like lots of little mini games. We ate chips after some of the rides and they were very good.
Friday 27/12/2013
On Friday I went to the cinema to see the movie Frozen. After the movie we went to the restaurant in front of the movie theatre for dinner. My mum and dad were trying to do some origami.
Week of New Year's
Monday 30/12/2013
On Monday my dad went to the butcher to pick up the goose for our New Year’s Eve dinner party. My dad and I also went to the shop to get some new light bulbs for our car trip. The shop is really close so it did not take very long to get there and back.
Tuesday 31/12/2013
On Tuesday I had a yummy goose that my mum had made at a friend's house. We saw fireworks in the yard before eating the goose. We had dessert with the goose but I did not like it so just the grownups had it.
Wednesday 01/01/2014
On Wednesday we watched movies indoors because it was raining outside. I also played with the little kids that were there and we played for most of the day. I did have a little fun with the kids but not loads of fun as they were all younger.
Thursday 02/01/2014
On Thursday I went to the park and we took pictures of everyone climbing in the trees. We had to go through squishy mud that was wet and dirty from all the rain. It was so much fun at the park but then we had to go back to our friends house and pack everything up to go home in the car.
Friday 03/01/2014
On Friday my dad took down the Christmas tree and the decorations. It was really messy on the carpet so my dad had to vacuum the living room. After cleaning the living room, I sat down to play a little game on the computer before we watched Arthur Christmas.
