Task 1

Using either the shapes tool in either of the toolbars, drag out a few different shapes.

Which ones do you think will tessellate?

Which do you think won't?

Experiment with the different ways of colouring in the shapes.

Use solid fill and gradient and change the outline colour. Can you make it the same as the fill?

Task 2

Delete all the shapes apart from 1

Use this shape as the basis for your tesselation. you can use 'copy and paste' or the duplicate + button to get an exact copy of your shape.

Fill the page with your chosen shape. Take care to align them as carefully as you can.

You might want to turn on the grid to help you.

Grouping is useful too!
