BOX JELLYFISH:

Box jellyfish are invertebrates and can be distinguished because of their shape. Some species produce an extremely poisonous venom. They are normally found in the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and more. Some can live up to 88 days. An adult jelly fish can measure up to 20 cm (7.9 in along each box side or 30 cm 12 cm) diameter. Their tentacles can grow up to 3 cm in length and it is from here that the jelly fish injects its venom. It can travel at speeds of 2 metres per second. They eat small food such as prawns. In Australia the largest species of jellyfish, Chironex Fleckeri, can cause cardiovascular collapses and death within 2 to 5 minutes for a human being.

BLACK MAMBA

The black mamba,which is a snake, is found in some parts of Africa such as: the Savannah,rocky slopes and in some areas of dense forests. It is a large snake with a round body and extremely powerful. Ist fangs can grow up to 6.5 mm in length.The adult snake can be from 2 metres to 4.5 metres in length and 1.6kg in weight. It waits for its prey and then ambushes it.The black mambas eats small mammals such as birds. It can travel at the speed of 6.8 miles per hour over a short distances. If it feels threatened, it will usually opens its mouth, spreads its flap and hisses. It can deliver more than one bite at a time.The venom of the black mamba is extremely toxic: within 45 minutes, a human can also collapse and death can occur within 7 to 15 hours if an anti-venom is not given.
