Ellie looked around desperately, frantically hoping that after the deep conversation her and Jordan had that he would not abscond at the first chance, but after a thorough search the eighteen- year-old knew he`d gone but it had only been two minutes so she knew he could not have gone far. She jumped into her car quickly and drove round looking on either side of the road in case he was on the street when finally she spotted him looking around cautiously. A single clear tear rolled down her pale face and she wiped it off slowly, filled with pure misery and in utter shock at his unexpected deceit. She hopped out the car stomping up to Jordan.

"It was all an act. A silly act and I believed you?" exclaimed Ellie, irritated, shaking her head back and forth, "I will make sure you go to jail and you are punished severely. I will make you pay!" screeched Ellie shaking non-stop but then it was like she had an off switch, as moments later she held an evil grin as she stepped closer and whispered in his outwards ear, "you will regret ever messing with my family. That, is a promise I can keep."

Jordan gulped heavily and opened his mouth to speak but she stopped him. She asked him, no, she TOLD him to get in her car and so he did. She drove way past the speed limit but didn't seem to care, she didn't stop at the red lights but didn't seem to care and she changed lanes without indicating but again, she didn't care. Although she refused to let him see, she was absolutely distraught because she poured her heart out to him and he made a mockery of her. She let him in. She trusted him and after all that she had been through, trust did not come easily to her. She didn't stop till she was at the police station. She marched him in and immediately the officer recognized Jordan. As he loudly gasped, in a state of shock, other officers came and seconds later Jordan was pinned down on the floor and handcuffed. As they roughly pushed him through the steel door and put him in a cell, Ellie beamed because she knew from the look on the policeman's oval-shaped face that this man wasn't a two-time offender.

" Thank you", the officer said, shaking my dry hand as a bubble of tears collected in his blue pupils, "this man took everything from me and my family and you've helped me get it back."

"You're welcome. This man put my mum in a wheelchair so he deserves everything he's about to get. Good bye now."

He nodded his head as I turned on my tattered heel. I got in my car and drove away back home...
