My favourite book is The cat in the hat
The cat in the hat is about 2 children who are bored when their mum goes out. Sally and her brother are sat around when suddenly a human sized cat walks into the house and wants to help them have fun but he makes a lot of mess and causes lots of trouble. Their pet fish isn’t happy with all the things the cat is doing and keeps asking him to go but the cat won’t go and carries on making a mess. Just before their mum gets home the cat brings out a special machine to tidy all the mess up and then disappears back out the door. Mum comes home and asks what the children have been up to but they don’t tell her, they act like nothing happened.
I like this book because it’s funny and I enjoy the way it all rhymes.
