When our house caught on fire

One beautiful day, my family and I went out for a picnic. We had a lot of fun! When we came in front of our house I smelt this awful bad smell of smoke, I shrugged it off and went in the house.

When I opened the door to the house a bunch of smoke came out, me and my sister looked at each other and went inside. We opened the door of the living room and saw that the curtains caught on fire by a little candle, I opened all of the windows in the house while my my sister called 112.

My sister and I quickly went outside and left the doors open so the smoke comes out. My parents weren't understanding what's happening so my sister explained to them. Suddenly, I remembered my puppy that was in my room, I ran inside without my family noticing and quickly ran upstairs and went to my room and grabbed her quickly and covered her with my jacket. I ran down the stairs and ran out the door.

When I heard the sirens I calmed down and soon the fire was completely out.
