Writing  a letter

Dear Ben,

          I hope this letter finds you well just like me. Have your dad got a hang of his new job? In this letter, I am going to tell you about my summer holidays.

          In summer, I have two months school holidays during which I do plenty of things. Every summer, here in Malta, the weather is extremly hot so I like to have ice creams, cold drinks and cold food so to keep myself cool. I also wear light clothes. I regularly enjoy myself going for swim in our lovely crystal blue sea. I also give a helping hand to my dad keeping our garage clean. In summer, I attend summer school. I really enjoy myself as we do various crafts, cooking, drama and we even go to cultural outings.

           In summer, Maltese people are known to celebrate many traditional village feasts. I like to go almost to every feast to see the fireworks. I also go and visit historical sites with my family. I often pay a visit to my grandparents. I love to sleep at their house because late in the afternoon, they spend their time out talking with their neighbours.

          Now, I hope I encouraged you to come and visit Malta after I gave you an idea how I spend my summer holidays. Hope to see you here in Malta in the coming months.
