The Galapagos are a group of volcanic islands.

of Ecuador, South America.The islands are home

CLIMATE CONDITIONS

It is pretty much the same all year round

(cloudy cool and dry).

Plants such as black and white mangrove and

Bracken ferns grow on the islands.

Animals such as Galapogas tortoise,

iguanas and penguins live on

the islands.

The islands were formed by the layering and lifting of volcano eruptions.
