Annemarie character description

In 'Number the stars' by Lois Lowery . There is a young girl called Annemarie, Annemarie is a beutiful young girl the lives in a small town called Copenhagen . She has a small 5 year old sister called Kirsti in the text, she was discribed as having short tangled curls. She also has a Jewish best friend called Ellen, she has brunet coloured hair.

Further into the text, I have notcied that Annemarie is a bright coloured girl who is curious in every sutuation, expecially when it comes to the war. Moreover I belive that Annemarie has a positive attiued to try to pacify her younger stubbron sister who acts spoilt to gifts that some children may not even have. In chapter 4 the author tells me that Annemarie wants to help desighn Kirstis shoes to try and help her mother with Kirsti. This might give a hint to Kirsti to not refuse but to try again.

Throughout the text, Kirsti and Annemarie went to go buy a wooden button for Kirsti. When suddenly a unexpected sign in German. Annemarie was scared she rushed to the corner of her house street which made me think that Annemarie wanted to tell Ellen first (her best friend) about what happen.

Annemarie is also speedy , sporty athletic person. I know this I know this by chapter 1 when she raced her best friend Ellen. Also she is one of the bravest out of everyone because in chapter 5 she was brave enough to peek out of the door just to see the frightening solider come in the house.
