On Tuesday 18th June, six children from Maple and Oak represented Sacred Heart at the Wandsworth Model United General Assembly (MUNGA). The topics for debate were all about water (UNICEF Article 24) and our country this year was Ghana.

The children had to debate a topic relating to water, make two presentations (one on water and one about Ghana) and then take part in a General Assembly debate about water conflict! It was a very busy day but lots of fun.

The debating standards were even higher this year and it was a very close competition which was eventually won by Earlsfield Primary. However, we didn't come away empty handed! in fact, we won two special awards - one for the best speaker of the day (Divine) and one for most innovative poster.

Well done to everyone involved - you were a credit to the school.
