Hello Buzzards!

I hope you've had a good week. What did you get up to?

This week, I had a chance to give the old school blog a new look. How do you like it? All the year 6 teachers are looking forward to sharing what we've been doing at home here and we're excited to see what you've been up to. Hopefully this new platform will make keeping in contact with you a lot easier.

This week I've been busy crocheting my cardigan - I'm about half way now! Because I've been busy crocheting the cardigan, I've neglected the alpaca that I was making. Hopefully, I will get to show you both finished next week!

I've baked some bread this week. Have you baked bread at home before? It's so satisfying when the dough rises and becomes soft and "pillowy" (is that even a word?!). I baked some pineapple buns (they don't actually have any pineapple in it!). These buns are sweet and have a crumbly top. They're very popular in Hong Kong, especially for breakfast or as an afternoon snack. Comment below if you know why they're called pineapple buns. I also made some steamed pork buns (you might have had these in a dim sum restaurant). I'm really pleased with how they turned out and shared them with my family.

If you've baked anything or did any arts and crafts at home, I'll be thrilled to see what you've made. If you've been writing a story, make sure to publish it on j2e so we can read it!

Look forward to seeing your updates.
