Ms Rigg here! I am excited to introduce the amazing WE club (an active citizen club) and let you know about the work they have been doing.
The WE club meet every Friday lunchtime to discuss issues (both local and global) which matter to them and action plan how to tackle them. 3 years ago, they decided they wanted to tackle the issues of litter pollution in the local community - especially in the canal. They contacted Canal and River Trust to see if they would work with us and they offered us the amazing opportunity to adopt a section of land by the canal for us to turn into an off-site school garden! How exciting!
